Job Description
This is a unique work-site sales / marketing opportunity that entails:
- Prospecting for new clients (via phone, in-person, group meetings, workshops, etc.).
- Public speaking (making presentations on retirement planning to school district employees).
- Preparing for future sales/enrollment presentations.
- Interviewing prospects to determine investment objectives and needs.
- Enrolling new clients (via one-on-one and in-person appointments).
- Selling financial products such as annuities, mutual funds, and insurance (license required).
- Conducting existing client account reviews and plan reassessment.
- Analyzing investment performance data.
- Developing, presenting and helping to implement financial plans.
- Recommending financial strategies in such areas as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning to accomplish clients' goals and objectives.
- Building and maintaining client data and recruiting new clients on an ongoing basis.
Much of what our financial Advisors do is conducted on site at an employer's (school district, college, etc.) location. Advisors usually spend approximately 85% of your time out of the office.
Job Requirements
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- 4 year college degree preferred
- 3+ years financial services sales experience and proven success in this area
- Must have clean FINRA report
- Securities (FINRA Series 6 or Series 7) and insurance licenses
